Interviews
Hi
Please could I have a response ASAP as I am seeing a manager on Thursday
I seem to really be struggling with situational questions. I can manage the first half of the questions really well.
I really struggle with the situational questions
I have an hour a week with a general manager at work and she wants to understand how you learn, how you retain information (as everyone is different). I may then be able to approach the session with you a bit differently which may work better for you.
First of all the way I learn scenario questions is writing down the answers and practicing them verbally till I am almost a robot. If I have notes I do not know what I am doing. I can't remember things easily
I am looking at a new job as my contract is coming to an end next month and need a new role
Please could I have a response ASAP as I am seeing a manager on Thursday
Many Thanks in advance
Jo Stewart

Hi and welcome to the community, I am sorry but I dont quite understand what advice you are wanting ?
Are you looking for interview techniques advice , it is hard to give advice about situational questions as they are designed to find out how you would react as an individual in the given situation. As everyone would react differently there isnt a right or wrong answer.
The interviewer will be looking for someone who can lead the situation and take responsibility for the task, the people and the outcome. They are also looking for understanding of the company values and knowledge of customer service
If you have more specific advice then just ask and we can try and help
Also if you have a disability you could request reasonable adjustments at interview -
Hi @jstewart1
Good luck with your chat with the manager today (if you haven't already had it!). Let us know how it goes
