Hi guys
We are looked at buying a house in the future along with a group of other parents for our young disabled adults to share with 24hr care. Has anyone else done this or can advise on how to go about it?

HI,When you say buying a house do you mean a mortgage or outright with no mortgage?I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @libbyt Welcome to the community, that sounds like a really good idea.
I would suggest you need legal advice and also care advice to ensure the house meets all the required standards
You will need a good agreement with the other parents in place, maybe start by contacting CAB to put you in touch with the right people -
Hi @libbyt
As @janer1967 said, it's probably a good idea to seek both legal and care advice, and there's be no harm in getting in touch with Citizens Advice either. You might also find this page about housing options on the NHS website contains some useful information?
Let us know if we can offer you any more advice or support!
