PIP HELP ASAP

My mums friend has scoliosis & Osteoarthritis is it worth her applying for PIP? Yes I no guys it’s not about you he diagnosis , it’s affecting her most days. her mobility is very limited. Any suggestions guys? Thanks everyone and @Username_removed you have helped me a lot thanks hun xx

Well she can apply and then fill in the form if she applies to any of it.

@ChloeHibbert your mum's friend might find this website helpful https://pipinfo.net/ it has a questionnaire you can fill in to get some idea of whether you're likely to qualify or not.

Just to add an additional resource, Citizens Advice have also published general guidelines about who is eligible for PIP, which you might want to send to your Mum's friend.

Hi,

If she's under state pension age then there's nothing stopping her from applying. It's not means tested so other household income will make no difference.

I have to apologise @ChloeHibbert Pip Info used to have a really awesome survey to find out eligibility but I noticed today it's gone so sorry about that.

Hi @ChloeHibbert It is always worth looking at the descriptors and how the applicant would score against them before deciding if to apply or not.

If mobility is affected and other aspects of daily living then there is no reason why not to apply
