Why is there no proper help . To understand borderline personality disorder In needing to know what help there is . In the UK. Because in the USA and Australia is where all the research is being done on this borderline personality disorder have read on the American and Australian sites that people with borderline personality disorder should have an MRI scan on the brain to see where the disease is

Accessing the right support for BPD seems to be quite difficult in the UK.

You may want to think about working through a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy workbook. The following workbook is quite popular:

Hi @nashiee

Mental Health services in the UK are really stretched, some areas are worse then others. Sam and Mia have both given some really good resources. I think that the Mind website on Self Care can be particularly useful. You might also find the Time to Change website helpful as people are able to post about their experiences. I am wondering when you received your diagnosis and what support or treatment, if any, you have been offered?
