Age and CP

Hi there. I am an adult who has mild hemispheric cerebral palsy. I feel that as I get older the affects of CP are more noticeable. I wonder if age affects others.

Welcome to the community. I think how you feel is quite common. As people age - mental and physical things can get harder and this can make CP more pronounced. There's some good info on the Scope website about ageing and this old thread has some useful thoughts. -
Thanks Alex.
I have taken a look at the Scope information and it does provide some comfort.
A. That i am not alone in experienceing noticeable changes in my condition.
B. That its ok to go to my GP to get advice, referral or assessment.
The challenge is not to let it get to me and see if I can make some small changes now in my life to slow the decline.
BTW. I am in my mid 50s.
