Hi @debbieroberts
Welcome to our community !!!!!!!!
Please please have a very good look around !!!!!!!
Please let me know if I can help you in anyway ????? -
Hello @debbieroberts and welcome to the community.
Depending on what your partner is earning this may be correct. I would suggest ringing the scope helpline to discuss your situation as they may be able to offer some suggestions.
If you are married or in a civil partnership you may be able ask for part of your personal tax allowance to be transferred to your partner, who will pay less in taxes. See https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/family/2015/02/couples-now-able-to-register-to-shift-unused-tax-allowance-between-spouses
As an individual I stood alone.
As a member of a group I did things.
As part of a community I helped to create change! -
Hi @debbieroberts, I hope you find the above suggestions useful.
If you do want to give the benefits calculator a go, you can do so here, To speak directly to someone from Scope, you can call our helpline at 0808 800 3333. Hope this helps! -
