Im trapped in my body with pain daily I cant stand very long or walk from far.

People me and cause I look ok they think I am. Its most annoying and soon will have a PIP review. Scared I will have my mobility car removed. Ive no money to pay for another car or money to maintained. Then Im trapped in the my home then which will majorly effect my mental health. Life is beginning to feel really pointless. No pointbto carry on any longer.

Hi @sickoffeelingtrapped welcome to the community.

I am sorry to hear you are feeling low, it sounds like you are a bit overwhelmed at the minute.  You can speak to the Samaritans if you are feeling very low.  There is also some great support and advice from MIND about suicidal feelings.

Do you see anyone from a specialist pain team? They can offer support, advice, treatment and counceling regarding long term pain.

Secondly, I understand the stress of thinking about your review, do you have a date for this?  If you wanted to prepare for this, perhaps you could speak to someone at the Scope helpline about ways to prepare for it? That might be making sure your papers are in order and any evidence you need is to hand. For example, recent doctors reports etc. You can call the helpline on 0808 800 3333.

There is always a point to carrying on, I understand that you feel low right now and that you think things are pointless, but it isn't pointless.  We care and we can try and offer you support with your review and if things don't turn out the way you hope, we can give you lots of information about appealing the decision.

This is a friendly community, so please do jump in and get involved.

I know how you feel, after 6 years with mobility car they have took mine off me and am house bound, i sent my MR and got my reply 3 days later no change standard care and standard mobility, got my letter on Feb 20th to move from DLA to PIP so its been a really long slog to get here and mentally im drained going to tribunal but I dont hold out much hope reading statements on other sites i think i might as well just give up

    Hi missm

    Please don't give up
The success rate at tribunal is a lot greater than MR. The panel is independant and will look at all the evidence without the bias of the DWP. All they should be interested in is the truth, they are very used to to shinnannigans of the DWP and the misrepresentations of the HCP reports. If you have any further evidence then do submit it especially helpful would be a GP's letter addressing specifically the PIP descriptors and the trouble you have with the daily tasks and your mobility.

Please let us know if we can help
