I’m disabed lady in my 50’s and live in Brighton.
i suffer from mental and physical disabilities from the age of approximately 24 yrs old.
i have one daughter age 30 yrs old. she suffers her own problems too.
My life is basically horrible on a day to day basis.
Even though I’m a married lady, my husband tries his best but leaves me everyday for over13/14 hours a day.
He works too many hours a day, and I spend a large part of it alone too.
Im very unhappy all the time. I have just swapped my meds’ for another type, plus use morphine on a as and when basis.
it would be fab to meet other people in similar conditions and situations.

Hi @lottieonline
Welcome to the community, you sound like you are feeling quite lonely and isolated. Are you able to get out on your own or with the support of someone else?Scope

Hello it is nice to meet you.

Hi @lottieonline
Have you heard about Possability People in Brighton - a local disabled persons organisation that has a disability information service. They may hold details of local social groups, activities, befriending, and meet up groups that may be of interest to you and can be a great way of meeting people.
