I have just received this text from dwp ’Thanks for sending us your 'How your disability affects you' form. We may need you to attend a consultation with a health professional before we make our decision. We'll contact you again if we do. Please call us if any of the details you gave us have changed.’ now I am very anxious because I had my medical assessment 18th of Oct so do not understand this text because I havnt sent anything off I don’t think I could face another assessment.

Hi nataleejay and welcome
The only way to find out is to ring the DWP. It is not unusual for them to mess up. Have you asked for a copy of the assessment report ? if not then that is something you should do.
Normally PIP decisions take 2-4 weeks from assessment
Please ring them and let us know what they say and we will try and help further

Hi @nataleejay, welcome to the community!
As CR says, I would give them a call to see if you can clarify things. You can find their contact details here. Let us know how you get on and whether we can assist you further. -

You may have less of a wait if you can ring first thing in the morning
