Hi to all

I have recently in the past few weeks had Chestinfections which set off after my asthma attacks breathless when walking short distances like to shop across the road or my friends house was put on antibiotics new inhaler.

Seen differant doc for above she asked me why am I on ibuprofen they could be why my asthma is worse I am not supposed to be on them but apart from morphine that helps with pain do I really want to take morphine daily.

So only what dose help is taking 2 600mg of ibuprofen which I am not supposed to have but been prescribed loadz of by doctors so what do I do to feel comfortable.

I am currently waiting to see Phyisio but that's when I get an appointment for my back hips n legs just wish they would hurry up lol.

Hi @Diligent500, sorry to hear that you're suffering at the moment. As Steve says, we are not qualified to give medical advice as we are not professionals.

The best thing to do for your situation would be to see a medical professional and explain about your pain and issues with ibuprofen, and see what they suggest. If you're not happy with their feedback, you are entitled to a second opinion from another professional. Good luck and take care!

Are you seeing different specialists? Only recently I found out that using my GP to coordinate eve the in really helped. Just to give an overview of ALL of me if that makes sense.

I'm asthmatic and had similar issues, my GP sorted it out.

Gosh, sounds like you are having an utterly crappy time @Diligent500. Not being able to get out and about is so rubbish as is chronic pain. Have you found anything that helps? Might be worth as gp about that too.

Glad you are getting to shops and friends, might get easier as antibiotics kick in and asthma etc improves.

    How is it going?
