Hi, my daughter is 2.5 and has Cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. She is at nursery in the afternoons and copes well, she will be starting mainstream school nursery in the summer 2018 so all is well with her. From my point of view I am starting to realise that I now have zero friends and no support network at all so day to day life can be a bit isolating and lonely as I am a stay at home mum. I do not know any other families with a disabled child so can never really vent about what frustrates me. If there is anyone out there that can relate, say hi.

Hi @emilyw532
Welcome to the community! It's great to have you here. We have lots of parents here, so I hope you find the community friendly and useful. You are always welcome to vent here!
You might find our parents and carers category interesting, we also have a cerebral palsy category. -
