Hi Sam n hi Steve .
Yes I'd like n glad to tell you about myself. Well! It's bluboy n I'm 28. I'm living in Birmingham for few years and I'm not from UK. So if my English is limited, apologies. I've been working on it. When i was younger I played football too good, I wished someday would be a player of a professional football team. but several years ago my nerve's arm injured because of the  motorway accident and then left arm paralysis, and Disability n Difficulties, in fact. So you know, everything changed and I felt bad ,sad ,lost ,pain ,grief and new unknown world. Now Let's skip this part (coz it's long long journey) .
And nowadays about here I need to say I almost know nobody.:) n I just google disablity comunity n joined Scope. For starting:) I need to know how somebody can register in a disabled football club or swimming team or other sports? What I need to have and to do? Also I'm on ESA . And met the Specialist in QEHospital n University. And He said you need to try n start again.
    Appreciate. :)
    Many thanks.

I should plus: I was playing football in a division 1's team in my own country and we're training 4days a week, and I was going college aswell, when the accident happened. And then fighting n struggling  against even daily routine by only useing one hand. I'm still fighting... :) but I need to do something more something massive.

Hi @BlueBoy22, welcome to the community.
I do understand that facing disability is a challenge in life.
My mum had a stroke and she is right side paralysed. Managed to learn walk but only with support. Still not able to use right hand at all. Since October/ November my mum is getting injections  of botulinum toxin (my mum does not live in the UK) in the muscles of right hand and arm. It helps to relax the muscles of paralysed hand.
Perhaps you could ask your Dr if they use similar injections here in UK as well.
My mum hand muscles are slightly less stiff then they used to be what helps with physiotherapy of her hand.
You can read more about botulinum toxin injections here.
Who knows perhaps it could help a bit.
