hi lauradoom and welcome
PIP is a benefit paid in cash to help with the cost of daily living and/or mobility. It is up to you what you spend the money on. there is no provision to supply goods or services

Hi @lauradoom
Welcome to the community!
If you have a need for fridge freezer and can’t afford to buy one you could explore if there is any charitable grant funding available to you. There is a grant search tool on the Scope website:
https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/search-grants
Alternatively, in many areas of the UK there are Re-Use centres where you can buy pre-owned furniture or white goods much cheaper than from shops and often be supporting charities and the environment at the same time.
This directory might help you to find your nearest Re-Use Centre:
Best Wishes

The larger charity shops have large electrical good for sale from wide screen TVs to fridges washing machines and small hand appliances, may be worth a look most donated by family whose parents have been called to eternal rest.
