Hi all,
i have had central vision loss for almost a year, I was diagnosed with optic neuropathy in November, my optic nerve is severely damaged. I am also moderately-severely deaf, have been since Christmas 2016. I have no balance too.
Is there anyone who suffers with the same or similar problems? I feel so alone with all these issues

Hi @Ami2301
Im sorry you havent had a response to this post, it sounds really tough to deal with. So many people feel isolated and alone and though no one has come forward with the same impairment as you, I hope you will join in with other discussions as there can be so much support across different impairmentsScope

Hi I seem to have lost my hearing, sense of smell and balance over the last few years .
My balance is often all over the place and mostly I walk like I'm drunk .
It can be really frustrating .
I was given balance exercise that help and tried low salt no caffeine low dairy diets but mostly they don't work .
You just have to take each day as it comes .

The ears control balance, so that link makes logical sense, at least.
But why do so many mention allergy/food intolerance linked to loss of sense of smell, do you think?
