Over this last 6 weeks I found my self secure and receiving the benefits I was intitled to. To getting jsa awaiting a payment which I need badly.i basically went from 7-8 hundred a month to now zero my rent has not been paid I'm heading for possible homelessness jsa can't pay me until the 1St of may I have no food gas water my landlords demanding rent but until my jsa is active I can't apply. I have used the council help scheme last month I've had a short payment but it doesn't even cover what I owe.how can they at the dwp do this? My condition had never changed I wish no one goes through this hell

Oh no that's terrible. Im so sorry your suffering like this. The system is very cruel. I have no practical advice as I don't know your situation or how this chain of events happened. I just wanted to reply and say I hope you are ok.

@peterpete If you have no income, go to your council and ask for a Nil Income form. That'll get you Housing Benefit, at least, and maybe Council Tax Benefit (can't remember).
