Did you appeal against PIP decision?

With your son, could he go back to college for a year if he can't find a job. I could be wrong but they altered the JSA to over 18 didn't they?
Have you claimed all the benefits you are entitled to? There is a benefits calculator that might help with that.
If you haven't already ask for your assessment report and see if MR is possible for pip.Do not follow me, I don't know where I am going. -
Phone National Debtline for advice.
StepChange Debt Charity have a helpline. They could arrange a debt management plan (DMP) for you.
You could reapply for PIP if it's too late to appeal. You have 13 months to appeal but you have to ask for a mandatory reconsideration (MR) first. -
Hi @cwhitaker80, welcome to the community. So sorry to hear about your situation.
You've had some great advice from our community members already: you could appeal the PIP decision and try and get this overturned, and it may also be beneficial to check the online benefits calculator to see if there's anything else you or your family could claim. You may also like to try the grants search to see if there are any hardship awards you could apply for.
To contact National Debtline for advice as @Matilda suggested, you can visit their website here. I hope this helps, and please do keep us updated: I really hope you manage to get thing sorted. -
