Losing weight with polycystic ovarian syndrome

Hi
I have recently been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome and I would like some advice on how to loose weight. I have a lot of fat around my stomach, I'm unable to do a lot of exercise due to my fibromyalgia. I also have ehlers danlos syndrome type 3, chronic fatigue syndrome and idiopathic hypersomnlence. I only take pregabalin for nerve damage in my legs.

Hello, I also have PCOS and have to watch my weight. Weight loss to be sustainable needs to be enjoyable. Here are some basic guide lines
eat three meals a day with each meal containing protein, carbohydrate and fat. The healthy kind of fats.
An example of this would be
porridge and berries (carbohydrate) milk/yogurt (protein) teaspoon of mixed seeds or peanut butter (fat)
lunch
ham and new potatoes salad
ham (protein) potatoes and salad (carbohydrate) teaspoon of olive oil as a dressing (fat)
dinner
salmon (fat and protein) rice and vegetables (carbohydrate)
if you are hungey invetween meals snack on fresh vegetables, natural yogurt with fruit, about 10 nuts ideally unsalted.
Add in something that makes it enjoyable one thing each day a bar of chocolate standard 40g, or a packet of crisps 30g or a small glass of wine.
Make sure you eat enough salad and vegetables as these foods are full of nutrients, vitamins and fill you up without increasing your calorie intake too much.
Also remember to drink enough water, it's a very important component of a healthy diet.
Cravings may hapoen in the first first few weeks of eating like this especially if it's a dramatic change from your current diet. But they will subside.

Thank you kirstennutrientadvisor that's great advice. I am currently seeing a fertility consultant as I've been trying to get pregnant for the last 3 years. I still have a few tests that I'm waiting on. My consultant is lovely.
