Hello everyone,
I have a son who has moderate learning difficulties. He left school in 2014 and has been at college since.
He attended a special needs school since the age of 3 - 16.
He now struggles with anxiety and his ability to be a friendly bubbly lad has changed. He has become quite withdrawn. He has just reached 21 and is hoping to do another college year next term.
Jordan looks like a typical 21 year old as in, he likes clothes and colour in his hair. But as I always say 'what you see, is not what you actually get!' Jordan looks very much more capable than he is. And, it worries me that after my day, Jordan will struggle to get any support, and he will not be able to sort out appointments and his benefits.
This is why I've joined the site so that I can get advice as and when I need it from people who know the right answers.
Thank you for adding me
