    Cost, for me personally.
    I'd say use of the word products is too vague also, just about anything could be included under the term.

    @feir - Thank you for your feedback! I am considering designing a tray attachment to most wheelchair armrests. It would allow users to have a place to write, to put their phone, a drink... What do you think about this? Is there a specific product you would like to see? I'm just trying to get as much research as possible - everything is appreciated!

    It sounds like a good idea. I don't have a wheelchair but do need one.
    I spend all my time propped up on a beanbag and find sitting unsupported is not ideal. I'd be hoping to get a wheelchair what supports my neck and so a table on that seems good.

    @Amskidoodles my friends son has a tray attachment for his wheel chair, it has a cup holder bit as well and can be used for holding lunch, or writing on. When I worked in a nursing home some 25 years ago a lot of people had a tray attachment, but it was big and bulky and if going anywhere they either had to keep it over the wheelchair, which some of the people found restricting or they had to travel with a big bag to put it in.

    With technology today it would be easy to design a tray, with the click together, or click solid when folded to go over a chair but easily click apart to sit neatly on the back of the chair with out it being bulky, or getting in the way of someone pushing the chair.

    I suppose you could combine the armchair remote holder with a click clack style pull out tray so it still has the holder over the arm rest, but can be pulled out and locked solid for writing, or eating. Good luck :)
