just Abt a year ago I felt strong & successful and content; after seperating from husband 2 yrs previously and setting myself and daughter up in shared ownership property in a new area
then I made another change at work , changed location and took in full time hours within 3 months I realised too late I had triggered a depression I hadn't suffered from for over 12 years, resulting in me now not working, not driving at moment, as had a seizure prob due to medication I was taking!
now realise too late; how I took on too many changes, sorely miss living in the community I left when I was well it didn't matter as I could drive andsocialise .
public transport in frequent and take me to towns where I feel outside comfort zones.
find I do less and less, which I kn isn't good, vicious circle, have tried returning to work on a phased return , but now been signed off until September.

I was in similar situation as you, won't bore you with details but I took on some voluntary work, which has lead me into part time employment. I found volunteering really helpful with my depression. hope things improve for you.

@sanedee, I too how learned the hard way about making life changing decisions, I did mine whilst very depressed.
Result, alone in a flat I hate, area I know nobody and not able to work.
I vowed then, 3 years ago, NEVER EVER make decisions without talking them through with either family, friends or mental health team.
I hope you do get your situation sorted
