I love being out and about on my scooter but my big fear is of some emergency happening and finding myself stranded because of a breakdown or similar. It's not a Motability scooter.....I think they have their own scheme. Is there any organisation I could join?
Best wishes.

I don't know but good question! I'll be interested to know too.

Hi,
googled it and found this: https://www.eta.co.uk/breakdown/mobility-scooter/ other policy providers appeared to be available but from an initial look this seemed to be the cheapest. Would be wise to compare the options I guess.

Have just looked into breakdown and also insurance (theft of scooter/mugging etc) and for £65 they got my custom. Good luck from SethLaa

OOPS I should have added that it is with ETA as highlighted above by Jean

Thanks for all the suggestions and I decided to go with ETA.
£65 per year while not the cheapest it does cover more than the basic essentials and is not a lot to pay for the peace of mind.
Thanks again.
Best wishes.
