Hi @lozzer25 I too have sleep problems. It effects every part of your life if your constantly shattered. Have you seen your GP regarding this problem?
I went to mine as I hadn’t slept a whole night of restful sleep in about a year. I have MH problems.
My GP gave me sleeping tablets but even with these I don’t sleep properly.
I hopeyou you can get help with this and also that your Botox works -

Hi @lozzer25 I have spastic diplegia and occasionally have issues with sleep, what really helps me is taking baclofen before bed and first thing in the morning. It takes the edge off the tightness and discomfort. I also wear a leg gaiter on my worse leg which helps stop my hamstrings tightening up and my leg pulling into uncomfortable positions, so I move less at night. Botox has helped me in the past, although that was alongside casting and then day and night splints.

Thanks niceboots I don't use any splints I mentioned it once but they said I would end up breaking it I take baclofen at night but it doesn't do anything I can go to sleep but constantly wake up because I'm uncomfortable I flop about like a fish at night and when I wake up I have constant tension in my neck and shoulders daily it never waivers always there I've tried exercises to try and combat the stiffness but nothing helps x

Have you spoken to your doctor? My gp adjusted the night time dose of my baclofen to help me relax better at night.

I was on 90mg but it did nothing for my sleep I'm seeing a psychologist they go on about mindfulness alot and anxiety but it's not going to sleep that's the problem I can go to sleep but constantly wake up because I'm uncomfortable

I too found that baclofen helps me to relax when I sleep. I have also been prescribed melatonin in the past. There are various options the GP can go down. It is also possible to get referred to a sleep specialist who can look at positioning. It may be that a sleep system would allow you to stay in a position that was better for your body and therefore reduce the amount of times you wake upScope
