What are the most important things that would help you live and work independently?

In response to the NICE draft guidance on Adults with Cerebral Palsy, I would love to hear about what are the biggest barriers that people with CP face when wanting to live and work independently? What changes do think should be made to make it easier for people with CP to live the life they choose?

When getting into education I found that biggest barrier was being able to access the correct support. The processes are long- winded and not tailor to the individual. I often have to seek out my own support and do the leg work. I worry that people who weren't as confident in doing so would have to go without.

HI Richard, I was born with cerebral Palsy pip just awarded me the standard rate, and now have to hand. back my mobility car next month, which was by the lifeline to the outside world, DLA I was on higher mobility and middle care allowance. Is there anything I can do, a can you give me any advice please thank.
