Does my wife get heating allowance she's on pip but was born in 1l955

    Hi,

    For the winter fuel payment you need to have been born before 5th November 1953, so no being born in 1955 doesn't qualify her.

    There's the warm home discount that's available to those on certain means tested benefits / low income. The criteria for this depends on your energy supplier, if they're part of the scheme. It's £140 and would be given anytime around March 2019 but you have to apply for this and wait to see if you're eligible.

    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
