I’m going through it too, mood swings, night sweats etc etc.
Mind started about a year ago, I think as I don’t have periods, a procedure done 10 years ago to stop them, so I wasn’t really sure.

Doctor wanted to put me on hrt but I’m not 100% sure, take enough meds as it is.

    Hi @susan48

    I can totally understand!
I take quite a lot of medication too. Just had even more added to my list, for my spasms.
I only take 1 a day so it's not to bad.
I was shocked when she said i would have to take them for 5 years.
I know all my aunties have all had to have hysterectomys, i don't really want to go through that too.

I've just bought some spritz spray, it does help me to cool down.

Iv just bought a fan for night time, need to take s towel to bed, if I even manage bed.
    Cooler on the sofa.

my gp didn’t take blood to see if it definitely was, she doesn’t believe in blood tests for menopause!

hopefully it doesn’t last too many years  :(

    Hi @susan48

    Im the same! ?
I've slept on the sofa for over 2 years now. Nothing to do with the menopause though.
it is so much cooler down stairs.

You can't always rely on blood tests.
Awww It's been lovely speaking to you.

    Hi @Andypandy69

I'm not sure about periods? As I'm still having mine.

I love the advice about the "chillows".
I didn't know what they were to be honest, until I googled them lol.

    Thanks ?
