Greetings from Norway,
currently me and my partner/girlfriend is fundraising for her to have SDR surgery at Nottingham University Hospital. About 1 month ago we travelled over to Nottingham, to meet with the neurosurgeon.
In Norway they don't do this type of surgery and we won't be funded by the state for getting the surgery, which costs 17000 British pounds.
These days we are going out in the norwegian media, in hope that people want to help fund for Siljes surgery.
Silje is 28 years old and lives with the condition Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. -

So far nothing I can share except the professionalism way how the SDR team are replying to us and explaining the surgery process, they gave us in details all the requirements and as well how they will perform the surgery and post-surgery as well. The information provided to us was very useful and this gave us some confidence about the treatment team.
I advise you to contact them and you can find the contact details in hospital web site.
