Both of my parents have LPA. My dad hasn't capacity and my mum has LPA and is acting on his behalf. My Mother has now taken ill and I have LPA for her however it's not currently active.
Is it possible that an LPA can be activated and then If and when my mother is well enough again that she can take over looking after the finances
Many thanks

Hi @jmc, and welcome!
Thanks for sharing this with us: I'm sorry to hear that you've all been facing these hardships lately.
As we're not experts in this area here on the community, your question about LPA may be more appropriate for a legal advisor to answer. There are some links to potentially useful organisations here, that may be worth getting in touch with. Please do let us know how you get on! -
Thank you
