My son has ADHD ASD and has a girlfriend, don't know how to handle this

My boy has some issues, ADHD ASD plus some other stuff but think I may be being too protective. His dad has no idea how things are and just wants to be his best friend. my boy just told me he has a girlfriend in Ohio, and dad knows all about it. Really don't know how to handle this. Xx
