Speech therapy

My grandson is nine year old with very little speech. His speech therapy has basically been not enough.
He was awarded 3 sessions just before Christmas...1 was in December, 1 this week and the next one is in March.
I would like to get him more frequent treatment but not sure where to turn.
Does anyone have any idea?

Thank you so much. It is frustrating watching him as we can see with the correct therapy his speech will improve.

Hello @Nannathree, I would recommend that you write a letter to your local NHS SLT team to ask if he is receiving the highest level of intervention that he is entitled to. Then, it is a good idea to get the appropriate level of intervention written into his EHCP (a legally binding document laying out the child's specific needs). Good luck and best wishes, Nicola
