I live with chronic pain, I'm hoping to find support and new ideas for beating the isolation this causes

Welcome to the community, the NHS have lots of suggestions for chronic pain, one of them is gentle exercise - would this be possible for you? It can also be a great way to meet people, whether that is in a yoga class or out for a walk.
Also have you looked to see if there are any local groups to you where you can go and meet new people? You GP surgery or library might have some information about this.
