A FATHER has built bionic arms complete with nine bionic hands for his son, complete with flashing flights, after an 18-month hospital wait for a prosthetic arm proved too long.

Callum Scott printed and designed a set of nine different hands for his 11-year-old son, Jamie, who was born without a hand, using online guides on YouTube. Using a 3D printer and seeking advice from online forums, the father built the arms from scratch in various designs - including one with a Batman logo.
