Hi @onelife welcome to the community! Would you like to tell us a bit about yourself?Disability Gamechanger - 2019

I am a 56 year old man and live in Bedfordshire from Scotland originally. I have mixed anxiety and depression although I would say my depression has almost left me thanks to medication.

It is great that you have round the medication which is best suited to you, sometimes that can be a battle in itself trying to find the right one!

Hi I do mindfulness walking which basically means when I’m out and about usually at the park I am aware of all MH surroundings and senses and enjoying the environment. I’m aware of my breathing and my walking and just chilling myself out. I’m lucky as I have had agorophobia in the past and appreciate being outside more than before. I have to work hard at lowering my anxiety levels and it’s an ongoing process. On good days I take photos as well. I using a step app on my phone to show my progress with walking and feel pleased when I achieve my goals. I set them realistically. Enjoy your walking!

Thanks yes I go out for a walk in the morning to help relieve my anxiety levels and somehow connect with the outside environment by noticing things like birds singing etc.
