    Hi @Skiptonbabe and a warm welcome to the community. Good to have you with us.
    Google brings up FND as 'functional neurological disorders'. Am I looking in the right place? Perhaps you could tell us more of whatever you know about the diagnosis. There's at least one website that looks promising in terms of information, provided I'm looking at the right medical condition :smile: and that is this one https://www.sth.nhs.uk/services/a-z-of-services?id=115&page=293
    It is suggested by what I have seen that FND may contain 'undiagnosed' conditions, for which we have a thread here, and 'invisible impairments' about which we have a thread here. It might be worth your having a look at them.
    Whatever else, we're here for you and listening.
    And the more you can tell us, the more easily we may be of use to you.
    For many years a Bradfordian (for my sins), now a Londoner, Skipton is a town I remember with real joy and pleasure.
    Warmest best wishes to you,
    @JennysDad

    Hi @Skiptonbabe, and welcome!

    Thanks for sharing this with us. Hopefully some of our members will be able to share their experiences, but in the meantime, you may be interested in FND Hope. They have some great resources about diagnosis, treatment and everyday living on their page!

    Hi skiptonbabe. I have FND and dystonia. I was diagnosed last year. There is a group here that is called THE that may help. Not sure how I found it but maybe one of the moderators could help you do that. I'm having a really bad day today so can't type very much but will do when I can. There's also a Fb group called the friends. It's a closed group so you have to ask to join but it's safe and everyone there has or is caring for someone with fnd. Take care and know you're not alone xx
