Hi I'm living in Bromsgrove and wondering if there is any support groups or that type of thing?  I'm 30 and beginning to struggle with constant falls.

Hello @vlnolan88 Pleased to meet you welcome.

Thank you for joining and sharing.

I am one of the team of community champions. We guide, advise and help new members who join the forum.

Please have you looked on line for services and support groups to help you in Bromsgrove.

Often the local County Council has a booklet issued to all householders . Contains details of all services, support groups. Contact them.

Sorry to here suffering with falls. Have you spoken to your Doctor?. Could be useful to discuss this.

Offer you information, signposting to additional support or groups.

We as a community are not medical professionals I would just get that checked out.

    Something to consider.

Please if we can help with anything further please ask.

We are here to support you.

    Please take care.

Hello @vlnolan88 and welcome to the community. How are you doing today?
@thespiceman's given you some good advice, but would you be able to give us a little bit more information about the sort of support you're looking for?

Just a social type thing maybe with people with similar life experiences regarding being disabled. Thanks in terms of the falls, I'm currently having physio and my gp is aware. I just feel a bit lonely with it all especially as my cerebral palsy is impacting on my life alot these days.

    Hope that all makes sense

    Hi @vlnolan88
Great to meet you! I live with CP too and there are lots of people here on the community in the same position that you might like to interact with :)
In terms of groups near you, we have our friends at CP Midlands who cover your area. Feeling lonely is not great if you ever want a chat to let me know.
