Has anybody received any information about backdated payments for pip? Remember Ian Duncan Smith resigned over it because teresa may wouldn't back down but everybody got on her case and she made a u turn weeks later and reinstated pip. She said all the pip money stopped or reduced they would get it all backdated. So how do i go about claiming mine?

HI,I'm unsure what you mean exactly here. Why was your PIP stopped or reduced? The only changes that were made for PIP were for following and planning a journey for those with overwhelming psychological distress.DWP are in the process of looking at all claims that were decided on or after 28th November 2016. No face to face assessment is needed and once DWP have looked at the claims they will contact people and send decisions letters to them. This link explains this. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-changes/overwhelming-psychological-distress-and-journeys-changes-to-pip-law-from-28-november-2016
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
