I noticed once I joined the the site covers England and Wales. I am Scottish so would there be any information available for Scottish disabled people? If not can you recommend a similar site covering Scotland ? Thank you in advance...

I created one of the campaign election videos for Labour, and Jeremy Corbyn,
This is a new version of Emeli Sande, Hope "You Are Not Alone
I highlighted everything that's wrong with this country from benefits, NHS, UC etc, but now we have to put up with the hate now that is the Tories.

Thanks for the welcome thespiceman. I suffer from peripheral neuropathy and C.O.P.D Along with various other ailments. It would be great to finally be able to discuss things with others who know the complications that comes with this horrible disease.

    Hi @Mags65!
While it's true that Scope is only based in England and Wales, that doesn't mean you're not welcome here. Some of our advice and information might not be applicable in Scotland, but we do have many Scottish members, so if you have any questions or need some advice, please just let us know and we'll do our best to support you.

Hi @Mags65 and welcome to the Community.  It is nice to meet you.  I'm Scottish too so always nice to have a fellow Scot on board!  As others have said, Scope has Scottish members also as well as other members from the UK and further afield and it advises/supports everyone.  You will find members on here with similar health issues to you, I'm sure, who can relate to your experiences.  However, we are all here to support you so if there is anything at all you need then just let us know.  When I first joined like you, I wondered how Scope could help me living in Scotland, but they have been a great support network for me and I have met so many lovely people here and made new friends.  I hope you enjoy your time on here and find it useful.  Feel free to have a look around the website.  The coffee lounge is a great place for meeting members and for lively discussion:-

If you are looking for more general information for disabled people in Scotland, the following groups are a good source of info too:-

I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions then please just ask.  All the best.
