BothThis is the only picture I have of Peggy, a cross-boxer/lab that mum rescued from Bristol dog's home when I was about 2yrs old, She's sat on the tracks of a mechanical shovel in a stone quarry near the prefab estate I lived in near Box.She was my hero and my constant companion until she passed one hot summer when I was 12.

CatsVery sad losing pets

CatsI have had Dalmatian dogs in the past and do love dogs, but I would say that after having Christy for the past 5 years, I am more of a cat person now and would be lost without her. She certainly keeps us on our toes!Winner of the Scope New Volunteer Award 2019.

DogsI love both & have had both. Lean more towards dogs for company though & hoping I can eventually get another. First time in my life that I haven't had a dog & still miss my last terribly.

DogsDogs all the way. Have always had dogs since I was a kid. My dog is my world, he’s called Theo and he’s a lab retriever

Hi @L_Volunteer! Last dogs were 2 Japanese spitz, but have had 2 shih-tzus, a lhasa apso, a boxer, a beagle, a corgi & a mixed lab/alsation. Not sure what my next will be, might be a coton de tulear/poodle cross, as my niece is thinking of having a litter from hers. Here's hoping!

Yes very vocal ! Especially around food and running water especially when I’m in the shower lol also great for me because I’m blind. He responds very well to where are you? Just a little sound to tell me where he is! Perfect
