Hi I'm Lynne
Last diagnosis I had was Chronic Pain Syndrome with a brief 'we don't know everything' from the consultant. It's a bit of a mystery.
I try and look on the bright side and to enjoy life as much as I can. At the moment my new kettle is making me very happy Thought you might like to see it. It looks like a trendy robot space helmet and just tips at the nudge of a finger. You can take it off the cradle if you can/want, but I fill it at the top by pressing the white button to open the lid then pouring in water from a small jug. The button does not need much pressure either:

@linlin01 those kettles are great aren't they? I've just attended a 6 week course relating to inflammatory disease and they had one of those in the kitchen! Very space age Welcome to this friendly forum. I'm quite new here myself.

My Name is Connie00
I am one off the community Champion’s here at Scope. it’s really nice to meet you.
A very warm welcome to the Community. I trust you are having a good day today
I myself suffer with Asthma Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, CFS and FND, (functional neurological disorder) and a lung disorder which completely fails me when I have an asthma attack. so I understand what Chronic pain is like.
So, I live most of my days in pain, I can relate to where you are coming from, sometimes it gets the better of me, and sometimes I’m not sure which one is playing up more, difficult to know, so I really have empathy for you.
but as Adrian_Scope mentioned we do have chronic pain advisor here so if you need to chat to someone you can either press the link which I think will help you not feel alone, or chat to me or any other members on this forum
if we can be of any further help please let us know.
Have a good day

Hi@linlin01! Welcome to the Scope community . An element of my condition is that I have very short limbs and weak arm joints so lifting a full kettle has always been a struggle and leads to subluxed elbows... This kettle is genius! Thank you for sharing.
