Hi @Fliss2019
Welcome to the community, have you tried filling in a benefits calculator to check if you are claiming everything you are entitled to?Scope

Fliss2019,
You can challenge the decision by asking for a mandatory reconsideration and appealing if necessary. You could use the self-test to check if it agrees you have limited capability for work-related activity (it's the same test as for ESA).

Make sure you've claiming council tax reduction as this is separate. You might also be able to get PIP, although this has a different test:

If you're not working and you're on UC you should get free prescriptions. I know that's not a lot of help so in the meantime do challenge the LCW decision if you think you should be someone with LCWRA (limited capability for work-related activity). Your anxiety and depression could be really relevant to this.
You might be able to get help with the MR/appeal from a local advice agency, such as a CAB.

Hello@ Fliss✋?I also have Depression and Socialphobia and i've been put in the lcw group too i have been appealing against it but they keep refusing to back down just bcos i can use my hands. They're asking for more evidence if they are to change their decision and i have given them all the evidence i can get.I'm also a T2 Diabetic and control it by diet so that's adding to my worry if i have no money to eat!!?
