ESA Descriptor Question.

if you need physical assistance from someone who is physically present with you to enable you to complete a task due to physical disablement or serious mental health condition (as per descriptors) but you don't actuaslly get any support from anyone (due to isolation etc) and live alone and just dont do the task because of pain/mental health (or in my case add kids who do absolutely zero when it comes to helping you as they are so selfish) do you still qualify as meeting the descriptor even though no one is present to offer physical assistance even though you need it but are not receiving it?

Hi,Yes, it doesn't matter whether you receive the support or not.May i ask which descriptor you're talking about? Are you you talking about regulation 35, which is what most people gain entry into the support group through, especially mental health.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @goldielocks1,
There is some really useful information about the descriptors for ESA and filling in the ESA50 on the Scope website.
If you have any questions after reading it, please get back in touch.
