Thanks to you I've cut out crisps and biscuits from my diet. (Still having chocolate and sweets I'm afraid, but they are on the hit list). Eating more fresh vegetables now then I have done in 15 years.
I think you deserve a Community Crown for that alone!

    Hello    @Franstrahan   Thank you.

Good to hear other ways to add fruit, vegetables is to look at tins and dried.

Dried Fruit like Prunes, Apples, Apricots good for breakfast to add Yoghurt those Greek ones with Honey fine or with out.

    Top with Cinnamon.

Add to a bowl rehydrate add boiling water kettle cover. Drain ten minutes fine to use for Porridge and Cereals.

Some Nuts and Seeds. Walnuts buy pieces or Pumpkin Seeds.

Useful amounts of Iron, Fibre and Vitamins.

After a meal something I learnt sometimes do this. Cheese a small match sized. Cheddar, Feta with Bread whole meal and Nuts another way to fill you up after a
    meal.

Stop those snacks, cakes, biscuits use water or have PNB Sandwich.  Peanuts and any nuts squash hunger supress it.

I use this time of year simple soup around afternoon make it or add to a tin any veggies with bread. Come Evening meal eat less.

Puddings Yoghurts, Fools, Mousse any of those , check labels good to have after wards.  Fruit Apples or Pears or any fruit.

Understand been a struggles ,some obstacles some problems.

You all of those successes will be an award to you for having a healthy life.

As for cakes you could have the following make it easy.

    Another way to add fruit.

Jars sauces or tubs supermarkets add veggies to bulk them out.

Spinach is a good one to use any leafy greens but Spinach has a enzyme in it that curbs hunger.

Use that a lot the only problem fresh bags cost a lot cheaper frozen.

Malt loaf, Jamaica Ginger Cake all can be microwaved few seconds. Not every day but to go with any tinned fruit and some Yoghurt, Fromage Frias cheap really easy and something different.

Others are using tinned Rice Pudding, Semolina .  Angel Delight mixed that add some fruit to it.

Does not have to be hard.

When you get a freezer this possibilities are endless.

I use a lot of frozen veggies and fruit in my diet cheap and easy.

Only buy some times so little fresh too expensive either dice this up zip bag freezer every thing else frozen.

Reason is the nutritional content some are diced ready to use and some are better frozen than fresh.

Please can I thank you for supporting me in anything I write.

Please hope if you need anything questions please ask.

    Happy to do so.

    Please take care.

I dont like much in the way of fruit. Apples, bananas, strawberries and raspberries I think about covers it. Better on the veg side, like most veg I think. Seriously considering going veggie next year, a new years resolution. And still on the lookout for that freezer.
Looking forward to my chestnuts next week, the best part of Christmas dinner and a shame you can only get them this time of year.
I do like peanut butter (a lot) but have you heard of almond butter? I'm told this is even better than PB! Friend in America told me about it but thought you should be able to get it here. I've never seen it.

Never seen it in Tesco. I will look online. You've never tried it then?
Got another great tip from the forum here - sprouts in the slow cooker. I've got chicken, parsnips, few other bits to go with. Chestnuts in the microwave.
I'll be checking in here over Christmas day as well. Just looking forward to a quiet, peaceful day. Or even two or three days.

Hello @Franstrahan      Thank you for reply.  No I have not tried it. Like Walnuts Almond buy from TESCO .

Use with Cereals, Cornflakes, Weetabix, Porridge.

Another tip if hungry have a bowl of Cornflakes with Apple and nuts seeds.

Stops hunger.  Cornflakes have good minerals, vitamins and give you energy.

Not Crunchy Nut just plain  standard Cornflakes not Named brands own Super market fine.

I forget to add Peanut Butter remember find one with not much sugar in it.

    Some do.

    Check the labels.

Always double check labels on anything. Just a thought. Some fruit Yoghurts have five teaspoons of sugar in a small pot.

B.B.C.  Good food website has produced the following books.

    May be of interest.

    AMAZON sell them.

    Slow Cooker Favourites £4.99

    Healthy Slow Cooker Favourites  £12.99

    Ultimate Slow Cooker Recipes.  £12.99

These may be useful have a look, use these give you some ideas.

All books clear precise instructions easy to follow.

You could a suggest just buy one per month, then adapt any recipes for your own taste.

I do this all the time, look at recipes how can do to suit my disability.

Often write this out.  Bullets, itemise them.

Another tip buy Pyrex Dishes for Microwave precook small amount boiling water.

Any veggies you like cover diced them up and thist save time, drain and add to Slow Cooker.

    Hope that helps you.

    Wish you well.
