Hi @shazbot360 - Welcome to this supportive community; I'm pleased you've joined everyone here.
I'm terribly saddened tho to read about the loss of your daughter, as we lost our youngest daughter, aged 23 months, quite some time ago. My heart goes out to you.
This must also be difficult in that little Gracie has been diagnosed with multiple endocrine neoplasure type 2.
Hoping you have continuing support from Gracie's specialists.
Please talk here any time, as there's usually someone here. I'll also ask my friend @thespiceman to advise about your depression; you also need some support for yourself to help you look after your little granddaughter.

    Hello Shazbot,
My god... you and Gracie are going through it.
I can only imagine what it must feel like for you both. I'm so sorry.
If I could send you strength, I would.
I'm new here, but I hope you find the kind of comfort and companionship that you need, in this community.
One thing I think we all have in common here, is that we're here for some support and understanding (that's two things...).
    Thinking of you both :)

Hello @shazbot360   Thank you for kind words.

Please have you had a chance to look at any of the links I sent to you.

I know you have therapy and any thing to support you.

Just thought an idea to see what else the charities can offer.

I am caring, concerned old fashioned gentleman of the community.

All I can say if you do apply. There will work with your therapists or counselling offer additional information, advice and support.

When ever I enrolled in these charities even though coping, doing OK.

Often discuss with me some other options, offered me support with my addiction even though clean and have been always grateful.

    If I needed some one.

The need to talk after wards, can be enlighten and some one else who has been there.

A lot of staff employed by charities personal issues, experiences and health histories.

Helps any one coming in to join and get support.

Understand every day a difficulty not easy wish I could more for you.

Your not alone, and also please need to ask or talk about anything happy to be listening.

I use this forum many times to offload, rant need to say how I am and what and how is life.

One other bit of guidance speak to the Salvation Army.

    https://www.salvationarmy.org.uk.

I used to do this contact the nearest Branch.  Speak to some one about how I am feeling losing friends due to addiction.

Comfort, reassurance some times the words of the Bible most of all give some peace and solace.

Please I hope that helps and gives some more support.

Please take care in prayers and thoughts.
