The New Year is always a time to look forward and make plans or changes for the future. But it can also be nice to look back on happy times from years past. As we rush forward into the 20s, what are your best memories of the 10s?

Hello @Adrian_Scope As John Lennon said about Elvis before him was nothing no one.
Same here the forum, website before all of that, had nothing really.
Yes did volunteering coping best I can but since being here.
This my favourite memories need to share and care.
Meeting lovely people who are friends, supporting those with any problems, issues.
Feel whole again and wanted, respected, not used as before that a door mat long hours in to the days.
As volunteering used abused and no thank you nothing. In many places creating gardens and places of peace, sanctuary for those to have lunch, and rest.
Now feel self esteem and yes if I can use that word content happy if I can be.
Do not ever feel lonely.
Before that felt lonely isolated had a few friends but used and made to feel unloved, not caring. No wants any of that.
The team help as you know your biggest fans.
Memories supposed to be treasured and revered but as time went and has gone, those memories are not ones wishes to reflect of sadness, depression and pain.
Being and completed another decade means to me another year old and ageing thinking positive if I can.
Doctor says the other month seems to me you being calm and serene.
I think it has taken a long time to get the annoyances, the irritations of those who supposed to be my friends in this place where I reside.
Yet can not be bothered to send a text or a phone call but expect me to run around to their whims, desires and needs.
Yes will and did bit by bit realised they never to identify that have needs myself and need to be helping me.
Christian duty aside it is not pleasant to hear those who your friends with and cherish think of them someone to rely on in reality can not and do not ever care.
Back on my own and maybe with GOD'S blessing find some peace, solace and the firm belief new beginnings start this year.
Prayers thoughts to all those like me, your in my heart.
Always.
Pleasure to be here and part of community.

The birth of our grandson Charlie he's six now and my pride and joy.
This decade has got off to a terrible start, on the 2/1 my OH fell down 12 stone steps onto a stone floor at a railway station, cut her head down to the bone, left arm so brusied it might as well have been broken her left eye was just a slit, been a really bad week for her.
One thing though things can as they say "only get better"2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡 -
