I have a border collie who is adorable. He has kept me alive and gave me a purpose. He’s my everything. Unfortunately pip don’t think that, lost points because I have a dog. Cheers for that ??

I have a little dog. She’s a cross pug chihuahua and she’s my bestie. We have been through so much and she’s been my rock. I originally got her for my mum who has dementia but my mum rejected her. I have to admit I was not a dog lover before my dog came along, but I didn’t know how much a dog can bring to your life. I bonded with this ball of fluff and I love her more than I could have ever imagined. She wormed her way into to my heart and I had no choice but to concede.  I was struggling to losing my mum to dementia and my heart was aching. Although my mum is physically here I am watching what was once my mum, fade away before my eyes. I often think that 8 years on, that my mum sent my dog to me to mend my broken heart. I truly believe that.

How did you lose pip points by having a beautiful, intelligent border collie?
Do you have a photo of him you could post here?

That's such a sad, but beautiful tale of you and your little dog.
Do you have a photo of her you could post on the thread here? x

    Hi Franstrahan,
Thank you. Sad but my dog brings so much comfort to my world.

Ok that's interesting. My PIP form is ready to be posted. I have ASD, sad, depression and anxiety. I get ill basically mixing with others. People I cant do. Animals I can. I walk my dogs (not currently because of this nationwide vomiting disease) and I can manage on a superficial level with one or two people, still mask, but if theres animals around it's easier. I go to EAL which is horses helping people with autism and other conditions. Obviously there are supervisors there. We talk about horses. I cant work a proper job or go to church (not without getting ill) and do not socialise coz of people.
Doesnt make a lot of sense, but cant believe you lost points for being able to walk your collie.
If it comes to that for me, I will contest it.
Have ranted right back at you, apologies  :)

I can never get the pics I want of my dogs. Or very rarely. They move, or look petrified coz I'm pointing a camera at them. Just occassionally, I get a nice photo x

Don’t know how my dog knows but always turns her head away when I point the camera at her.

If I can catch mine off guard, and say 'biscuits', I can sometimes get a nice photo.
They also know when I'm going to groom them, and try to disappear!

Teddy is a very handsome dog. Our dogs are such special little beings. I know I would be lost without my dog.

I have a lovely border collie called Bella. I would put a picture on here on here but I am not very good with technology and haven't got a clue how to do it! Bella is my baby and I can't imagine life without a dog in it.

Hi, I'm no good with computers etc and couldnt post photos when I first joined here. I cant explain how you do it, but I'll tag @Chloe_Scope, and she will be able to post something here.
Agree with you on dogs. There was a dog in the house the day I was born in it, and I have never had a day of my life when I havent had a dog or dogs.

    Hi @deb74

Are you using a tablet/phone or a laptop when using the community? If you have a picture of Bella on the device that you are using then here's how you can upload it.

    1. Find the photo icon.

The icon bar before the text box, the add a photo option is circled.

    2. Click it and select 'choose files'.

A drop down menu with the option to choose files.

    3. Select the photo you would like to use and press 'open'.

A box of files stored on the laptop, one has been selected and the open option is circled.

    4. The photo should appear in the post!

We have a rescue cat called Matilda. She came from a home with kids who might have been very unkind to her, she was terrified of kids when we got her. Now she's much more chilled out and has even met, played and been petted by our lovely neighbour's little ones. We have no kids of our own so Matilda is in her element.

Hi Chloe_Scope. Thanks. I can't find any of those icons on my phone. and I don't have any photos of Bella on my laptop. I could have done it no problem on my old android phone but I have got an iPhone now and I can't send photos on emails or put pictures on the internet.

Hi Chloe_Scope. I have taken a couple of photos on my laptop but I can't find them. I think I will leave it for now. It is starting to stress me out!
