Hi @tomg709, welcome to the forum, appologies this looks like it wasnt picked up in time. It can take time for them to come back to you. I am still waiting on my initial decision for PIP. The best advice I can give you is to wait.

    Thanks Tom Community Champion

Hi @tomg709 and a very warm welcome to the community! I'm sorry your post hasn't been answered yet. When was the last time you gave them a call? :)

    HI,

It maybe worth you ringing the health assessment providers and asking them for an update. DWP won't be able to tell you anything until the assessment report has been returned to them. Do be aware that there's no timescales, backlogs are just part of the reason a decision can be delayed.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Yes after I rang. The next day they rang me and said they had a home visit available for me. So have had that now waiting for outcome.
Funny how it takes me to break down and suddenly I get a visit

Fingers crossed for the outcome @bootmandy. Have you requested a copy of the assessment report?

I notified dwp of change of circumstances beginning of July 18.was assessed again and rejected even after mandatory reconsideration so had to fight in a tribunal.I won I'm pleased to say but will only get back pay from Nov 18 when dwp made their decision.I waited a year for my tribunal but they are overwhelmed with cases so I think it's a case of ringing each week and note down every call.As it happens, dwp never bothered to turn up for my tribunal which has made me really angry and upset.they were adamant that I was receiving the correct amount of PiP and breaking my hip didn't make my mobility worse(are they mad?)so now I'm waiting on my back pay which they have informed me will take2-3 weeks.I can finally get a bit of normality back in my life but what a journey!!
