I haven't been able to get an online delivery slot from any supermarket this week and non for the foreseeable future, so i will have to venture out tomorrow see what if any food i can buy.
Stay safe everyone and keep well x2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡 -
Do benefits rules apply during the potential lockdown coming up as surely alot of us who are vulnerable will be moving in with relatives or carers etc for support and mental help

I'm not sure what you mean by "do benefit rules apply" all face to face assessments have been suspended for at least 3 months, if that's what you mean.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Hello @woodbine @dannyUK76 Created a post this morning, please have a look.
Just gives ideas on other things to look at and buy.
As no Pasta or certain ingredients look at others.
Couscous and Noodles.
One other Chicken meat and any cuts buy if you can the cheap ones even frozen..
Drumsticks, Thighs, Legs and can be used to cook the whole lot in any sauce.
Shred and freeze in tubs, label and got a instant meal.
Done same with Whole Chicken, means got a lot of tubs of meals to put through Oven or Microwave
Sausages take out of skins Bolognese .
Other solutions bags of instant microwave Porridge add water then stir in yoghurts any type if no milk.
Eggs last longer scrambled or Omelettes, or my favourite Frittata it a sort of quiche made with Eggs .
Buy packet soup sauces instead of jars add stock cubes and tomato Passata . Used to do this for Soup and Ragu.
Buy and remember vegetable mixes eat more vegetables frozen be fine, used in Soup Pasta or Curry.
Use Spice Mix and Chickpeas, Spinach Frozen.
I buy no Rice used Chickpeas any sauce left over blitz up blender Soup morning with Bread Muffins or Crumpets. If no Bread buy Bread Buns.
Snack Filler. Peanut Butter sandwiches helps .
I will be adding some freezer meals sometime have to write them out make it easy for every one.
These include Meatballs buy 20 in a pack from some supermarkets.
Freeze those some in Pasta sauce great with making your own if none available jars sauces.
Jar of Passata and Italian seasonings that is it add some Tom puree no Puree Tomato Ketchup a dollop.
Anything I can advise on please ask me.
Happy to be supportive.
I know every one is struggling been on line myself doubling checking websites most are booked up till April 11th and some longer.
Understand every one not scaremongering but please continue to look at any of the websites if you can to sign up.
Some are restrictions right now sooner you can then hopefully might get a slot. Applying some are not taking. Sorry to tell you this.
I know causing me anxiety myself have and have made an stock list of the items I have.
Only thing I can suggest and advise sit down make a stocklist of anything you have to create meals.
As I have done.
Also look if you have to consider AMAZON pantry Grocery many items out of stock but there do have a Pantry Grocery the stores cupboard standbys we all love.
You will have to sign up.
https://www.amazon.co.uk
Please take care and safe every one.
