Both. Just been making some cream brocade and pink linen make up bags. My sewing isn't top drawer, but it does for me. Especially when you think I am left handed and it is weak, plus I operate the foot pedal with my other hand ,as my legs dont work, so I have just the left hand to feed the fabric, I am pretty lucky I can produce anything! xx

I have been studying, I have got quite a lot done today!

Just boosted my daughter`s morale. She`s dumped a fella who pressured her and is moving to a quaint little cottage.
She`s a fighter, bless her.......like her mum xx

It sounds like you are a great seamstress @pollyanna1052!! I studied textiles and used to use an electric machine which I could control with a button to make it go faster or slower, it really helped!
That's amazing @66Mustang, what are you studying?

I’m studying maths just at A level at the moment @Chloe_Scope. I had to drop out of college very early on due to health but I’m now going back to do my A levels then hopefully on to university.

I have made an appointment to see a dentist today for the first time in 22 years. I hate dentists, had a lot of trouble with my teeth as a kid and really not looking forward to it but thought it was about time.
Dont suppose things have changed that much since 1998. I go next Tuesday. -
Hi @66Mustang that sounds really interesting! I'm sorry you previously had to drop out, but I wish you all the best with it! Please do let us know how you get on.
That's a really positive step @Franstrahan, it can't have been easy. I too hate the dentist, I have found they are very understanding about people who are nervous and I really hope it goes okay!

Anyone got any positives to add this week?
I've started an SEO course which is something I have wanted to know more about for a while.Scope -
Kudos @Chloe_Scope
I hope you love the course!
This week I managed to stay calm... biggish deal considering my manager had a blazing row with our CEO and walked out. No notice period, he's gone. I now have no manager and my probation meeting is next week... Wish me luck! -
Very best of luck @JenCo! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Visited a good friend in a care home today. I told her about what I had been up to this week and did a logic puzzle with her too in her room. I showed her pictures of my family.

Monday finally plucked up courage to phone for my son's pip assessment report.
Arrived wednesday and what a weight has lifted off me! It is looking positive for an award and it was such an easy call to make and report arrived so fast.
Definitely a positive thing achieved this week, that was! -
