I have a nine year old grandchild with cp and she is nonverbal and wheelchair bound. Because of the Coronavirus in the USA, our schools have closed for the school year. I am going to be responsible for her education at home and am looking for ideas and suggestions. Thank you for letting me join this community.

Great to have you with us @mbagans. Our resident CP information officer @Richard_Scope is around if you have any queries about CP at all.

I don't know if you'll find it of use, but in the UK we have Twinkl, which teachers, parents and home educators use for everything from colouring sheets to test papers. They're offering their resources for free while coronavirus is meaning kids are stuck at home.

In the meantime, if you need any other support or just want a chat, feel free to pop into our coffee lounge.

Hi @mbagans, I very warm welcome to the community. Is your granddaughter following a school board or statewide curriculum?
