Hi thankyou all,I have cervical foranmial stenosis c5/6 with bone spurs and L3/4/5 s1 lateral recess narrowing, I am on duloxetine and 30/500co,codomol,I have been told cannot operate.I had a fall in 2010,then mri in 2015,then 2019 diagnosed with the stenosis. I am 42,I am struggling with the pain in cold weather is worse any ideas?,also I am struggling too accept being disabled. ??also feeling lonely Tara

It is hard coming to terms with a disability and that's what most of us here have dealt with so can support you

Hello @tazzy78 How are you today?
I wondered, has your GP ever discussed referring you to a pain management clinic? This NHS webpage has details on how to pursue this if not, and it also lists support groups that can offer specialist help around coping with pain.
You mentioned that you are struggling to accept being disabled too. What is it particularly you are finding hard? If you let us know we can talk about it with you

I will look at the NHS webpage,thanks.I am feeling down being in pain,and I keep questioning why myself why cant I have an operation, sometimes I think I've accepted be omi g I'll,sometimes I dont ,I get lonely as I cant work,and I'm finding this situation difficult .Il speak too doctor too see if can be referred to pain clinic, sorry for the late response,best wishes Tara
