I was amazed to see some of the queues outside Primark stores today on TV, it's a shame that the messages now seem to be mixed and not easy to understand, we have decided not to venture into town for a couple of weeks, let things settle down.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

Think messages are quite clear that it's safe to shop if they are Covid friendly with markings and limited numbers. Do not know what's unclear.

Oh and wear face mask
-
personally i don't think its safe yet to go, they are so worried about the economy they are rushing things like this, we won't be going for a while yet

Some shop say no need for face masks others do. Some dont want you to pay cash.
Window shopping has bit the dust. You cant browse. Some are timing you.
It would have been better to open tea gardens or beer gardens wider spacing of tables. 1he permitted. -
I live in Wales and the shops here are still closed but hopefully that will change soon!

I won't be rushing out either myself, but what sort of shops have we missed being open the most?Community Manager

The shops being closed hasn't made much difference to me to be honest. I do like looking in watch shops and in the Apple store but apart from that I only really go in the supermarkets which are still open anyway!

The raspberry pye store is good too!

I went to The Range. I had to wait in a queue for 10 mins. Most people, including store staff, didn't wear masks.
Cash was paid by the customer in front of me.
The cashier didn't even clean her hands after taking his cash.
Don't like it

I won't be rushing back, but I have missed a good coffee shop!Scope

The only shop I've missed is Bodycare, but there's a Savers a few minutes walk away anyway. I miss cafes being open as I used to meet my parents for lunch. I don't know the last time I went in a clothes shop, I only go if I need something.Louise Hesketh

I agree I wont be rushing anytime soon until the crowds have reduced. I mainly shop on line anyway even before the lockdown apart from a weekly food shop which gets me out.
However I can wait for cafe's and restaurants to open as I love being taken out for a meal, and recently went out for a drive and found an amazing harbour surrounded by restaurants and cant wait to try the greek one out
